J. Amicone of Dorchester and friend Judi Gillis of Roslindale and
Judy and her husband John McColgan of East Bridgewater. Grandfather
of Jill and Daniel Amicone and John and Beth McColgan. Brother of
Margaret Vogel, Mary Ciccotti, Joseph and his wife Josie Amicone,
Marge Grande, Shirley Banks and the late Maurice Amicone and Anne
Rufo. Brother-in-law of Anna Amicone. John is also survived by many
nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated in St. Brendan Church, Dorchester Friday
November 14 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment
Cedar Grove Cemetery. Late Navy veteran, WWII. Late member Ancient
and Honorable Artillery Company, American Legion ODP # 65, USS Salem
(CA 139) Sailors Assn. and USS Macon (CA 132) Sailors Assn., Founder
and President Emeritus.
